Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Oak first and foremost on the nose with vanilla and butterscotch before lemon. Surprisingly good acidity, balanced and integrated, and lending a definite food-friendly element. Citrus flavours give way to firm oak spice through the finish. Was hoping for a little more fruit, but still delicious and typical of Californian Chardonnay. Pair with cedar-plank salmon, creamy seafood pasta, or cheese burgers.
Director's Jaws 2015 is a classic California Chardonnay from the Monterey County and produced by Francis Coppola and a nod to one of the movie series that has inspired this director. The labels on this wine series are produced from the original poster art from these movies, in this case, Jaws. Look for ripe tropical fruit flavours, vanilla spice and toffee from oak ageing. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
