Lovely toasted hazelnut aromas wrap around vibrant green apple notes at the core of this terrific white. Full-bodied and generous yet refreshing and ultra-food-friendly. Highly recommended. Aging in stainless steel on its lees gives a richness and depth without heaviness. Drink with lobster in butter and melt into your senses.

The fruit for the 2009 Chardonnay is mostly from Los Alamos in Santa Barbera County with the remainder coming from Paso Robles and Monterey County. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel, with some lees stirring and no malolactic fermentation.

The wines have been exceedingly well received.
