Fontanafredda's Eremo 2016 is a full-bodied smoky, earthy with bright red cherry, leather and sweet tobacco leaf flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food on this well-priced 60% Barbera and 40% Nebbiolo red wine blend from the Langhe region in Piedmont. Decant 1-2 hours prior to pouring with grilled game meats. Enjoy now and pair it with game meats.

Food pairings: herbed steaks, Portobello mushroom, chili, soup, lamb chops.

Terrific value on this 60% Barbera and 40% Nebbiolo red wine blend from the Langhe region in Piedmont. Fontanafredda's Eremo 2016 is smoky, earthy with bright red cherry, leather and sweet tobacco leaf flavours on the palate. Well-structured tannins and a lingering spicy finish. Enjoy now and for the next three years. Great acidity for food. Pair with aged cheeses and salty cured meats. - Community Wine Reviews
