Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

94 Robert Parker: Wow! Full-bodied with an opaque purple color in addition to an extraordinary bouquet of charcoal, wood smoke, creme de cassis and blackberries intermixed with hints of acacia flowers and licorice, this stunning, multidimensional 2010 is loaded. Its texture, richness, complexity, purity and length result in a wine that considerably over-delivers.

Villacreces is situated right next to the iconic Vega Sicilia. Not a bad neighbourhood, if you’re into the whole wine thing. Rich notes of black fruit, earth and violets on the nose are followed by an intensely flavoured, structured, and youthful palate. Mouth-coating and concentrated with earthy notes accenting the fruit. This will reward 8-10 years of patience or can be enjoyed tonight. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Jan. 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
