Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Feb. 18th, 2018. Colour ruby red. Legs thick. Aromas and flavours of ripe red cherry, ripe dark plum, Christmas spice. Taste dry, medium mouthfeel, mouthwatering, fruity, soft smooth tannin. Finish red fruit. Easy to drink table wine of good value. From Veneto. Try it with tomato based pasta dishes. Drinks on its own. This starter wine may lead you to try other wines in the Feudi San Pio family. Like the Valpolicella Ripasso or the lucious Amorone.
Feudi San Pio Passatempo (2016) is a youthful red blend from the Veneto wine region. Look for ripe cherries and dried fruit flavours on the palate. Lovely with a meat or cheese pasta dish. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
