Very subtle Barolo with wild violets, leather and dried herbs. This is mature and ready to drink with those face ripping tannins that young Barolo has. Pair with truffled dishes.

Barolo food pairings: herbed roast beef, roast veal, hamburgers, aged meats and cheeses.

The 2010 vintage of the Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba has a lovely garnet hue in the glass. This wine is made from northern Italian Nebbiolo grapes grown in the winery's estate vineyards without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers. It's fermented with wild, indigenous yeasts only and is not filtered or fined. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
