Featherstone Phoenix 2021 Gewurztraminer is fragrant with rose petal, ripe grapefruit and ginger spice aromas, off-dry and medium-bodied with rose petal, lychee, honeydew melon, ginger, citrus zest and spicy flavours rich and vibrant on the palate. The wine is named for the Gew├╝rztraminer vines thought dead from a damaging polar vortex, but rose again in the spring... like a Phoenix.

Food pairings: turkey or chicken breast, mild savoury cheese, mild curries.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
