Faust 2018 is a big, deep and dark Cabernet Sauvignon produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Grapes were hand-picked and double-sorted, fermented in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels as well as aged in French oak barrels (30% new, 70% single use) for 19 months. Rich on the nose with bright dark cherry, raspberry and earthy violet aromas. On the palate the wine is lush, supple with blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate, smoky vanilla, cedar spice and toasty oak flavours. Tannins are structured and firm. Good now, better in a couple of years as the wine evolves.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled lamb chops, Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin.

Faust 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Fragrant with black currant, black olives and spicy on the nose; dry, full-bodied and vibrant on the palate with ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, smoky vanilla, cedar spice and toasty oak spice flavours. Tannins are structured and velvety. Good now and will continue to evolve and improve with age. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
