From the Minervois, Midi wine region, Domaine De L'ostal Cazes Estibals 2020 is a bold, juicy and expressive Syrah, Carignan and Grenache red wine blend with dark berry, raspberry, black cherry, black olive, vanilla and dark chocolate flavours savoury, spicy and long on the palate with balanced acidity and ripe tannins. The wine takes its name from the domaine’s finest parcels ‘‘Estibals’’ and is produced from a blend of the youngest vines. A portion of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for up to 12 months. Decant for one hour prior to pouring it with a well-marbled steak from the grill. Drink or hold.
