This is an easy-to-love Malbec sourced from 40-year-old vines near the Lujan de Cuyo and Las Compuertas regions. Look for layers of ripe blackberry, fine herb, earthy dark chocolate and vanilla flavours on the palate. Finishes long with velvety tannins. Approximately, 60% of the wine is matured in French oak barrels for one year.

Malbec food pairings: game, lamb, spaghetti and meat balls, veal cutlets, osso Bucco, hard cheese.

Fabre Montmayou Reserva 2018 Malbec is a broody Argentinean red produced from 40-year-old vines near the Lujan de Cuyo and Las Compuertas regions. Approximately, 60% of the wine is matured in French oak barrels for one year. The 2018 vintage is a big, bold and juicy Malbec with ripe blackberry, blueberry, earthy florals and dried Porcini mushroom flavours with great acidity for food. Enjoy with a game sausage cassoulet. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
