Estate Papaioannou is a medium-bodied, dry Agiorgitiko from Nemea, Peloponnese, with a firm weight and structured tannins, best served at room temperature. Winemaker Estate Papaioannou ages this wine for one year in French oak, revealing sour cherry, black currant, preserved red berries, dark chocolate, and a hint of warming spice, with a rich, layered palate. At 13% alcohol, it has solid aging potential through 2028, developing depth while retaining freshness. Pair it with roast pork to highlight its dark fruit and spice, or lamb kebabs to complement its structured, savoury character. This vintage earned Gold at the 2021 AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge, celebrating its classic Nemean Agiorgitiko expression.

Agiorgtiko food pairings: roast pork, grilled game sausages, gourmet burgers, lamb kebabs.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
