Loving this southern Californian Cabernet from the Paso Robles region from 2500 acres of estate vineyards. Big diurnal temperature changes from day to night. Concentrated flavour with a dark spice finish. Pair with grilled meat.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: prime rib, grilled pork, chicken, gourmet hamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A well crafted California CS which follows all the rules. Softer acids, little in the way of tannins, higher alcohol. This one possesses a nice balance between the fruit and the oak. Well made.
From Paso Robles, California, Estancia (2014) is great value for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Estancia is deep, dark, broody, smoky with dark cherry, blackberry and dark spices. Bodega Estancia is located in Tupungato, in the highlands of Mendoza. The vineyards are over 1,000 metres above sea level, with rocky, good-draining soils. Wine grapes enjoy hot summers and snowy winters and are naturally irrigated with mineral waters from the thaw of the snows from the Andes mountains. - Community Wine Reviews
