Reviews and Ratings

Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark violet colour. On the noses aromas of dry black fruit, cocoa, meat extract with iron nuances. In addition, violets with couscous spices. On the mouth full boby with a powerful structure. Good acidity with flavours of cassis, black cherry. In addition, cloves, toasty oak and vanilla. Ripe tannins and long finish.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

100% Tempranillo.Full-bodied. Dark ruby colour with thick legs in the glass. Fleshy and ripe plum, cassis, black raspberry with violet, tobacco leaf, tar, leather, toasted oak,wet wool, earthy, vanilla. The palate brings a little toffee, clove, black earth and sweet spices. Tannins are smooth and acidity is Medium+. Peaking now. A bit of trivia: Crianza red wines must be aged 2 years of which 6 months must be in oak. Food pairing: grilled steak
Tasted: November 8, 2014
This oaky Spanish red wine was aged for 12 months in new French and American oak barrels. Lots of acidity. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
