Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Intense ruby-red in color with aromas of red fruits such as ripe strawberries and blackberries with spicy notes and a light touch of toast, vanilla, and toffee.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Robe rouge rubis soutenu, arômes de fruits rouges, comme des fraises mures et un léger soupçon de rôties, de vanille et de caramel anglais.

Sarah reviewed this wine as follows:

Rich with lovely afternote.
This organic wine contains just 13 mg/L of free sulphur. Medium-deep ruby colour with smoky blackberry, blueberry, saddle leather and pipe tobacco aromas and flavours. Dry, ripely fruity with some gentle acids and silky tannins to bring it into balance. A perfect wine for ’round the smoky barbecue. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Eric Asimov, The New York Times

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.

Gary Vaynerchuck, Wine Library TV
