Produced by the Ashmead Family, a full-bodied red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, with Shiraz and Merlot grapes. Select barrels of each of the finished wines are chosen for this blend which is partially fermented in concrete and barrel. Elderton winery is certified Carbon Neutral. Look for ripe blackberry, cassis, black plum, cherry, garrigue herb and spicy flavours on this Big Barossa red. Tannins are smooth with a long elegant finish. Pair with roast beef. 'Ode to Lorraine' is a tribute to their mother Lorraine instrumental in the success of Elderton.

Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot food pairings: meatloaf, pork tenderloin, roast chicken.
