Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Grenache, sourced from 60-100 year old vines, comes from along the Ebro, in Spain. Ancient, knobbly bush vines produced this easy to drink and approachable wine. It impossibly hides a high alcohol and gushes fruit.
Deep purple, with pink and ruby hues.
Great aromas of violets, blackberry jam, bruised strawberry, balsamic, and vanilla.
Lots of bluish-black fruit to the palate. Damson plum, strawberry and extra conentrated vanilla and a tart red candy (think swedish berries) finish.
Partial carbonic and minimal oak. This would be great with smoked salmon, or tenderloin with root veggies.
