Reviews and Ratings

Jeremy Sprott rated this wine as 98/100 with the following review:

Intensely purple and inviting. Lush raspberries, jammy blackberries, coffee, dark chocolate, along with both peppery and sweet spices jump out of the glass. The raspberry and chocolate hang around for a pleasantly long finish. The A fantastic big, mouth-filling Zin! An instant favourite!
The blend is 50/50 between the two vineyards. Medium-dark ruby; attractive, forward, briary, plummy, toasty, ripe blackberry fruit aroma with hints of espresso and anise; full body; big, rich, jammy, concentrated, very ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit flavors; medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows intense varietal character and is very appealing to drink now. Highly recommended. Score: 89 Source: Nicholas Ponomareff, California Grapevine

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
