From E. Guigal, this Châteauneuf-Du-Pape (2013) from the Rhône wine region is a robust southern French red wine blend of 70% old vines Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre grapes. Lush ripe red cherries, leather, licorice flavours can be found on the palate finishing with supple, velvety tannins. Pair with roast gamebirds.
