Lovely balance with classic cassis and blackberry aromas in this California Cabernet. Plush, mouth-watering and celebratory. Great dinner party wine as it's subtle not in your face. While this wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, there's also a dash of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec in the blend. Great balance and finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese, grilled game sausages.

Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 7th, 2018. Colour ruby red. Legs thick. Aromas and flavours of red fruit, cherry, red currant, cranberry and hint of red bell pepper. Taste dry, lots of fruit, medium body, soft integrated tannin, mouthwatering, balanced alcohol. I like this wine, special occasion wine because of the price. Would pair well with tomato based dishes, and stews. Overall worth the try.
Dry Creek Vineyard 2014 is a dry and elegant mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sonoma County in California. Included in the red blend is a bit of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Look for ripe black raspberry, black currants and cranberry flavours on the palate on this lush and smooth red. - Community Wine Reviews
