A vibrant, lime-juicy Riesling with honey suckle and sweet lemon zest aromas on the nose. Sweet, bright stone-fruit and summer honey flavours on the palate. Nicely done. Pair with mildly spiced dishes, lemon custard desserts.

Riesling Spätlese food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

A Riesling Spätlese Mosel Pradikätswein produced by Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler, Wehlener Sonnenuhr 2016 is a zesty medium-bodied Riesling with candied lemon, lime zest, honeyed apricot flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Pair with schnitzels. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
