This fresh German white wine made from classic Riesling grapes has lots of minerality and lemon freshness. Medium-bodied with terrific refreshment in this classic German Riesling. Beautiful peach blossom nose then a surprising, but delightful, juicy, mouth-watering attack on the palate that is ultra-refreshing. Pair with fresh seafood or spicy dishes.

Riesling Kabinett food pairings: sushi with extra wasabi, roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, baby greens salad, feta cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Perry rated this wine as 90/100
Dr. Loosen Blue Slate (2016) is a medium-bodied Kabinett Riesling from the Mosel Pr├Ądikatswein and is fresh and zesty with stonefruit and lemon drop goodness. "Blue Slate" refers to the area of blue Devonian slate in the Middle Mosel. This orange blossom fragrant Riesling is a perfect pairing to crab cakes. - Community Wine Reviews
