Dr. L Riesling from the Mosel is a delightfully approachable, light-bodied German classic that charms from the very first sip, arriving at just 8.5% alcohol for a feather-light, effervescent energy that makes it one of the most versatile and crowd-pleasing whites on the market. The nose drifts gracefully with aromas of white nectarine, honeydew melon, and tangerine zest, lifted by a faint floral whisper of orange blossom, while the palate delivers a juicy, medium-sweet vitality threaded with flavours of candied lime peel, ripe apricot, and a cool, slate-driven minerality that keeps every sip fresh and moreish. Winemaker Ernst Loosen, one of the Mosel's most passionate and internationally celebrated advocates for Riesling, crafted this wine as an entry point into the world of great German Riesling, and it has since become one of the best-selling Rieslings in the world, a testament to its irresistible drinkability. Best served well chilled, this wine will drink beautifully through 2030, balancing its gentle sweetness against a bright, mouth-cleansing acidity that makes it a natural partner for heat and spice at the table. Pair it with a fragrant bowl of spicy shrimp laksa, where the wine's honeyed fruit and low alcohol tame the chili heat effortlessly, or enjoy it alongside crispy pork belly with a ginger-soy glaze, where the wine's tangy citrus core cuts cleanly through the richness.

Riesling food pairings: pork tenderloin, turkey breast, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura.
