Bone-dry German Riesling that's unexpectedly refreshing and great! Petrol on the nose in the best sense, then great minerality and flint and acidity on the palate. Stone-fruit and a dry finish. From the Pzalz region.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Trocken is German for dry and used in German wine classification process. This German Riesling is dry, light-bodied, medium+ acidity and I detected a slight effervescence. Pale lemon-green colour with characteristics of apple, peach, citrus, floral and petrol. Refreshing finish. Burklin-Wolf has a historic reputation in the Pfalz wine region with their vineyards occupying some of the sunniest aspects of the Haardt ranges.
Enjoy now or quite possibly the next 10 years. Delicious turkey wine.
Tasted: December 2014
This German white wine made from the country's iconic grape Riesling features dry white peach and pith with lemon zest and a citrus lift on the finish. Absolutely stunning for entry-level trocken Riesling. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
