Reviews and Ratings

Amanda rated this wine as 95/100
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The 2007 Donatella Cinelli Colombini Brunello Di Montalcino has intense notes of violets, dried cherry, pomegranate, old wood and clove on the nose and more of pomegranate and dried cherry on the palate. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, integrated wine; BALANCED with good acidity, dusty tannins and a long, smooth and silky finish. Drink now – 2025+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91-92 pts – recommended for its quality and value. Tasted Mar/14 http://grapeselections.com/benvenuto-brunello/

This full-bodied red wine is made from the sangiovese grape. This Brunello is concentrated and intense. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
