Natalie's Score: 89/100

A rich, dark nose of black fruit, smoke and tar aromas on this Californian red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Intensely concentrated yet supple red wine. Decant for 2 hours if you're going to drink soon (better to cellar). Dried tobacco and smoke on the finish, which is long.

Food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese, braised pork shanks with white beans, sizzling New York strip steaks, veal Asian chicken salad.
