Reviews and Ratings

Dominio de Punctum Tempranillo from La Mancha showcases ripe blackberry, mulberry, dried sage and a whisper of toasted wood. It's dry and medium-bodied with smooth tannins and vibrant acidity that keeps the concentrated fruit balanced through a satisfying finish. Serve it at room temperature with herb-roasted pork loin where the wine's savory notes and bright acidity cut through the richness, or pair it with portobello mushroom burgers topped with Swiss cheese where the wine's earthy character complements the umami flavors. Head winemaker Ruth Fernández, representing the eighth generation of her family's winemaking tradition, crafts this 100% Tempranillo using organic and biodynamic practices without any added sulfites, then ages it in French and American oak barrels for structure and complexity while maintaining the wine's pure fruit expression. Founded in 2005 by siblings Jesús, Ruth and Cristina Fernández on their family's 200-hectare Finca Fabián estate at 800 meters elevation, Dominio de Punctum pioneered sulfite-free winemaking in Spain and operates entirely on renewable energy with solar panels generating over 370,000 kWh annually while working toward carbon neutrality certification. Enjoy this expressive organic Tempranillo through 2030. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
