Lovely richness, elegance and length on this Cremant de Bourgogne made from the classic Chardonnay grape is a great aperitif or companion to shellfish. Toasty with green apple notes.

Crémant De Bourgogne Chardonnay food pairings: shellfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Made solely with the chardonnay grape varietyis what we could called a "Blanc de Blanc", a white wine made with white grapes with white juices. The Domaines Verret's challenge is to offer the same sensorial experience and typicity a Champagne Blanc de Blanc would give.
The nose gives out aromas of honey, apple and white flesh fruits on a backbone of finesse with the hints of the mineral terroir.
The first sip echoes the honey nuances felt earlier and the fine bubbles support the vivacity and brings out hints of fresh almonds on a deep ripe white flesh fruit savour.
