Absolutely stunning, especially at this price! Please don't buy it all before I get to the liquor store. Perfect for barbecues and pizza night. Full-bodied, velvet smooth, deep and rich and black fleshy fruit. Exotic violets and leather-smoke on the nose. Smokin!

Syrah food pairings: barbecued ribs, lamb stew featuring (but not limited to) paprika.

Remember, “épices” means “spices,” and this is a wine that will rejoice at such gastronomical ornamentation. (Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated). Expressive meat, olive, black fruits, bold, fresh peppery blackberry palate. Score: Gold Medal. International Wine Challenge, 2012

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
