Price: $18.95

Drink: 2014-2020

Bottle size: 750 ml

Alcohol: 14%

Sweetness: Dry

Wine Type: Red Wine

Winery: Domaine Duseigneur

Agent: Liquid Art Fine Wines

Natalie's Score: 90/100

This robust Rhone red wine offers loads of black fruit pleasure wrapped in smoky notes. The wine was matured in cement tanks, not oak, and wasn't filtered before bottling. The yield for the vineyard is low at 30 hectoliters per hectare, which concentrated the flavours in the grapes and thus the wine. Pair with prime rib.

Food pairings: hamburgers.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
