Natalie's Score: 91/100

This clean, crisp white wine comes to us from Guy Mothe et Ses Fils, prop.-récolt. Bright and vibrant aromas of lemon zest and white grapefruit. Terrific mouth-watering acidity for a variety of dishes. Not a trace of oak on this Old World Chardonnay. Classic and amazingly well-priced. This lemon-infused Chardonnay offers tremendous enjoyment, along with deep veins of minerality and zest. Try this ultra fresh wine with freshly caught haddock or sole. This vibrant northern French white wine from the Burgundian region of Chablis, has lots of racy acidity and a lime citrus zest on the finish.

Chablis food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, grilled seafood, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Guy Mothe et Ses Filsare the proprietors of Domaine Du Colombier. The Chardonnay grapes for this Chablis were sourced from five to 50 year old vines. This is a great seafood wine. Pair with escargots or creamy cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
