Domaine des Lauribert's Les Truffières Côtes du Rhône-Villages from Rhône is a robust, medium to full-bodied red wine blending Syrah and Grenache with notes of black plum, cracked pepper, black olive and dark chocolate. This dry wine displays smooth tannins and concentrated fruit that will continue to develop over the next five years. Serve it at room temperature with herb-crusted leg of lamb as the wine's peppery character complements the rosemary and garlic, or pair it with grilled sausages with ratatouille where the wine's savory depth enhances the stewed vegetables. Winemaker Laurent Lauribert crafts this expressive blend from vineyards planted near the village's famous truffle oak groves, which inspired the wine's name and reflect the earthy, aromatic character of this southern Rhône terroir. The estate has been family-owned for generations and is committed to sustainable viticulture practices that preserve the land's natural biodiversity. This concentrated Côtes du Rhône-Villages earned Gold at the 2024 Decanter World Wine Awards and represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2030.

Food pairings: roast breast of veal, lamb chops from the grill, grilled chicken dishes.
