Jeannot Père & Fils prop.-récolt. This refreshing and crisp white wine from Jeannot Pére & Fils offers lemon brightness. This zesty white wine is based on sauvignon blanc. Not herbal. Nice aperitif or companion to seafood, salads and vegetarian dishes. Medium-bodied. Some gooseberry and lime on the finish. Great with shellfish. MINE: Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire has many faces. Domaine De Riaux's Pouilly Fume (XXXX) from Jeannot Pére & Fils is lemon zesty, refreshing and crisp. This wine was awarded silver at ELLE à Table Concours des Vins, 2016. OTHER: Pouilly-Fumé may not be as readily identifiable for Sauvignon Blanc fans as its next-door neighbour, Sancerre, perhaps in part due to confusion with Burgundy's Pouilly-Fuissé. But it is a place you should know. This wine is always fresh and zesty with impressive fruit, bright citrus and a gorgeous minerality. As with many of Pouilly-Fumé's wines, this one will continue to evolve for at least 3-5 years. Try it with seafood or oysters, or simply sip and enjoy (Vintages Panel, updated). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
