Natalie's Score: 90/100

Black cherry liquer and toasty oak. Full-bodied to the max. pair with brontosaurus burgers. OTHER: (aged in old foudres for 16 months): Brilliant ruby. Assertively perfumed aromas of ripe raspberry, cola, spicecake and potpourri develop a vibrant mineral nuance in the glass. Juicy cherry cola and red berry flavours put on weight with air while maintaining vivacity. Closes smooth, sweet and long, displaying a repeating raspberry note and gentle tannic grip. Drinking window: 2020-2026. Score - 91 (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, April 2016).

Châteauneuf Du Pape food pairings: leg of lamb with roast potatoes, veal sweetbreads with sautéed mushrooms, cassoulet.
