Lemon and nettles on the noses, with lots of mouth-watering acidity for food on the palate. Medium-bodied, clean and crisp. Great for seafood or salads. Nicely balanced.

Food pairings: tuna steaks, mild cheeses.

Gold Medal winner at the 2012 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. Made with 60% Colombard, 20% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Gros Manseng. Opens with fresh, rather subtle notions of spring meadow and pear, then really widens its scope on the palate: apple, white peach, and yellow cherry all make an appearance, embroidered by lightly savoury herb notes and tangy acidity. Good round mouthfeel, and a very clean finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Dec. 2012

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
