Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 16th, 2018. Colour pale yellow gold. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of yellow apple, lemon, creme fraiche, steel wool. Taste dry, tree and tropical fruit, medium body, mouthwatering, low alcohol. Crisp and easy to drink. Finish medium. This wine was very easy to drink almost like an appetitive. Price was high for value but it is a burgundy family winery produced wine. I was pairing it with lobster however I found it to not add much to the flavour of the lobster. Paired better with my chickpea salad. All in all worth the experience of a special occasion.
Domaine De Mauperthuis 2015 is a boutique producer with one of the coolest vineyards in Chablis. The Chardonnay wine grapes for this wine come from 50-year-old vines and is fermented with native yeasts and aged in foudre. Lots of citrus, stonefruit, light herbal flavours on the palate with driving acidity. Pair this zesty Chablis with grilled halibut. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
