Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Stunning. The 2016 vintage showcased tantalizing dark fruit aromas and flavours. Scents of wild cherry and currant ushered in the dry, medium bodied palate full of concentrated dark fruited flavours and supple tannins. The fruit focused finish was satisfying, too. This pleasing creation was crafted in Moulin-à-Vent, one of France’s ten Beaujolais Cru appellations. Enjoy.

Domaine De La Plaigne Moulin-À-Vent 2016 Gamay is produced from 60 year old vines, rich on the nose with blackberry, currant, plum and pepper spice aromas. Dry, ample and vibrant with black cherry, black currant, plum and pepper spice flavours plushy and lingering on the palate. Pair with roast duck. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
