Black fruit, smoke and tar on the nose with dark spice, cedar brush and smoke on the palate. Full-bodied, layered and complex. Decant 2 hours. It will also do well in the cellar.

Food pairings: maple glazed roasted root vegetables, vegetable cassoulet, spring green, asparagus salad with strawberry dressing.
