From the Loire wine region, Les Vignes De Saint-Laurent L'abbaye is produced by an ancient vineyard once managed by the monks of Saint-Laurent abbey. Produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, on the noses there are aromas of grapefruit peel, light tropical fruit and mineral notes. Bright and zesty on the palate with gooseberry, lime-lemon zest, light herbs and crisp mineral flavours finishing long. Pair with roast Cornish game hens.

Pouilly-Fumé food pairings: chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, Thai green curry fish, fresh oysters on the half shell with lemon and horseradish.

A Pouilly-Fumé from Domaine Chatelain. Les Vignes De Saint-Laurent L'abbaye 2017 is a dry smoky Old World Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire wine region. Savoury with bright apple, grapefruit, white floral and clean mineral flavours on the palate. Pair with seafood salads, herbed quiches and brunch dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
