One of Burgundy's most historically significant négociant houses with roots to 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is also one of the largest individual vineyard owners in the Côte d'Or with 130 hectares under vine. This Premier Cru Chardonnay is complex and beautifully integrated on the nose with ripe orchard fruit, toasted almond, warm brioche, and dried herb from the oak, followed by a rich, mouth-filling palate of lemon curd and dried apricot with a long layered finish and bright food-friendly acidity. Cellar it through 2033 or serve now with butter-poached lobster, grilled halibut, or rich pasta in cream sauce.
