Lime and lemon essence on the nose. Extremely crisp, refreshing and clean on the palate with marvelous mouth-watering acidity for a wide range of dishes from seafood to salads. Good aperitif as well.

Alvarinho food pairings: pan-seared scallops, steamed mussels.

Very evocative notes of garden herbs, green and citrus fruit with a river-stone minerality on the nose. The palate is quite fresh and vibrant with steely minerality and tangy grapefruit. Very crisp with superb acidity and a lip-smacking finish. A classic Vinho Verde. Source: Vintages Wine Panel Feb. 2013

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
