Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Medium-bodied, medium acidity, grippy tannins. Earthy, red fruit, leather, tobacco leaf, vanilla.
Tasted: January 2016
In the 1980, third-generation farmer Doug Fries and his wife Jo Ann planted their first vineyard of 13 acres that included Cabernet and Chardonnay. Today there are more than 500 acres planted in this dry, desert landscape. The family also owns Oregon's Duck Pond Cellars and in 2004, the couple built a Prosser-based winery. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
