Delas Saint-Esprit 2019 is a medium-plus-bodied, lush and juicy Rhône red blend of 60% Syrah with the balance in Grenache, and just excellent value under $20! Inviting on the nose with ripe red plum, cherry compote, pink florals, rooibos tea, dried fine herbs finishing long and savoury on the palate with a kiss of spice. Drinking beautiful now. Pour with a roast leg of lamb. The Delas winery was founded in 1835 and is owned by the Champagne house Louis Roederer, which produces the coveted Cristal.

Food pairings: prime rib roast, pulled pork sammies, grilled meats in a black bean sauce.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
