A medium-plus-bodied, lush and juicy 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache red wine blend with pink florals and toasty oak on the nose, rich raspberry compote, savoury herb and oak spice flavours on the palate. Juicy acidity for food with velvety tannins. A great-value red wine from the Côtes du Rhône. The Delas winery was founded in 1835 and is owned by the Champagne house Louis Roederer, which produces the coveted Cristal. Enjoy now or cellar for three years.

Food pairings: Prime rib roast, pulled pork sammies, grilled meats in a black bean sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Delas Saint-Esprit 2016 is a 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, full-bodied, juicy red blend from the Côtes Du Rhône, Rhône wine region. Firm tannins with a mouth-watering finish, this is a bold red with crushed raspberry, blackberry, red berry, plum compote and toasty oak flavours on the palate finishing long and satisfying. Just excellent value under $20. - Community Wine Reviews
