Savoury and juicy, and perfectly balanced and vibrant Australian Chardonnay. The "G.S." on the label stands for Gulf Station, and the grapes are grown in premium parcels of vineyards planted in the Yarra Valley. Seductive smoke and toast on the nose is cut through with a shaft of lemon brightness and polish. Full-bodied and lovely.

Chardonnay food pairings: barbequed salmon, barbequed pork roast, crab cakes.

Victoria De bortoli Gulf Station (2016) is a full-bodied Chardonnay from the Yarra Valley. This Chard is smoky, lemon citrus and toast on the nose and palate. With elegant balance and a great acidity, this food wine is great value as well. The Yarra Valley is one of the coolest growing regions in Australia. Founded in 1928, De Bortoli is a member of Australia's First Families of Wine, an organization of 12 of Australia's most important and historic family-run wineries.- Community Wine Reviews
