Great value on the juicy and full-bodied Grenache and Shiraz red wine blend from d'Arenberg with lots of ripe raspberry, cherry, dark plum and anise spice flavours on the palate with good acidity for grilled pepper steak and gourmet burgers. Tannins are firm but approachable.

Shiraz Grenache food pairings: gourmet burgers, grilled rack of lamb, rare roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

Arenberg D'arry's Original 2016 is great value under $20. I keep saying this vintage is as good as the last one, but this one is even better. A terrific blend of Grenache and Shiraz with ripe and juicy dark raspberry, dark berry and liquorice flavours smooth, lush and mouth filling on the palate. Tannins are easy and great balance of acidity for food. Pair with a grilled steak or gourmet burgers and all the trimmings. - Community Wine Reviews
