Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

From Toro, north western Spain, this wine is a varietal of Tinta de Toro. Dark cherry and blk fruit aromas with leather and herbal notes. Still very tannic despite being aged. A spicy, heated finish on the wine. Will pair well with braised beef or lamb.
From the Toro wine region, Cyan Prestigio 2006 is made from the Tinta de Toro wine grape, some that are sourced from 60-to-90 year old vines, then aged 15 months in French oak barrels. On the nose, there is ripe dark fruits and oak spice aromas. Dry, medium-plus-bodied with fleshy dark fruit, savoury herb, balsamic and mineral flavours on the palate. Pair with a slow-braised herbed blade roast. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
