Aromas of dark fruit and tobacco on this full-bodied red wine made from the Feteasca Neagra grape (yes that name is a mouthful itself). A robust, tasty, smoky red wine at an incredibly great price. Mocha, dark chocolate and espresso on the finish from the oak aging.

Feteasca Neagra food pairings: stew, meat pie, garlicky burgers.

Paul Cebo rated this wine as 92/100
If you have not yet tried a Romanian red wine, La Putere is a robust, smoky, juicy dark fruit red wine at an incredibly great price. Made from the Feteasca Neagra grape, known for its black currant and black fruit flavours and ageability, this wine just gets better. Pair it with mild meat curries or a hearty game stew. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
