Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Martinborough, located on the northern Island of New Zealand, was one of the first areas in the country planted to Pinot Noir (in the mid 1880s). It's moderate, mediterranean style climate and diversity in geography means it produces some of the most unique and sought after wines in New Zealand.
Unexpectedly concentrated yellow, for a young, NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Slight green hues to the rim.
The aromas have plenty of enticing tropical fruit: lime, pineapple, and guava. Lemon curd and chive too.
It delicious and dangerously easy to sip. Returning tropicality, almond, sweet bell pepper, ugli fruit, and with a slight tickle of dissolved co2.
This Sauvignon Blanc was planted in rocky, limestone soils in a low-lying terrace 7 kilometers from the nearby city of Martinborough. 'Te Muna' translated to 'The Secret."
It's a concentrated wine that would go fantastically with oysters on the half shell.
Craggy Range Te Muna Road Single Vineyard (2015) is pale straw with green fleck in the glass. The nose is jasmine blossom, citrus and some minerality. This wine has good weight to it and finishes fresh. - Community Wine Reviews
