A refreshing Niagara white wine made from the Pinot Gris grape, with notes of grapefruit. Clean and crisp. Try this is you like Pinot Grigio as it has more heft. Pair with fresh seafood.

Pinot Gris food pairings: linguine with shrimp and lemon oil, Caprese salad, grilled chicken breast, frittata, basil pesto.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Earthy, apple, pear, fresh herbs, white grapefruit and grapefruit pith. Medium + mouthwatering acidity, light-bodied and good complexity as compared to some Pinot Grigio siblings. Meant to be enjoyed today. Perfect on it's own well chilled or with seafood/shellfish, pasta in white cream sauces.
Tasted: March 2015
Marybeth rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Purchased at the winery on the Pinot Noir weekend. This is a 2012, not a 2013.
This Ontario white wine sources Pinot Gris grapes grown in the winery's Red Paw vineyards where the vines are planted in red-hued soil, which tends to produce a lighter style of wine given the excellent drainage. Coyote Run's wines planted in the "Black Paw" vineyard, where the vines are rooted in denser, darker soils are more full-bodied as these soils retain more water. - Community Wine Reviews
