Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Ripe dark fruit aromas including blackberry, black cherry, and plum. Subtle barrel influences of vanilla and smoke also present. Good tannins with remarkable grip framed by a strong acid backbone and supported by a hefty body of 14% ABV. Drinking well now with more than a few years of prime drinking ahead. Blended from four equal parts of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich lasagna or charcuterie and cured meats would make magnificent matches.
Corte Medicea Aristeo 2015 is a medium-plus-bodied, juicy rich red blend of Merlot and Sangiovese wine grapes from the Tuscany wine region with ripe red berry fruit, blackberry, cherry, mocha and some oak spice flavours on the palate. Pair with a rich, meaty ravioli dish topped with sharp cheese. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
